At the February 21 TNA tapings at Full Sail University in Orlando, FL, UK independent star Man Like DeReiss competed in his TNA Wrestling debut – wrestling Jason Hotch on Xplosion.
Now courtesy of a new report from Fightful Select, more information has been learned regarding DeReiss’ TNA debut.
Fightful’s Sean Ross Sapp and Corey Brennan both learned via sources in the UK that DeReiss’ TNA appearance was in fact a tryout for the company.
DeReiss has yet to sign with TNA following his tryout but was recently reported to be subject of interest from WWE, with several talents within the company said to be “pushing” for WWE to sign both DeReiss and fellow UK free agent Rhio.
If DeReiss joins TNA he will reunite with Boisterous Behaviour tag team partner Leon Slater, who joined the company on a long-term contract back in October 2023.
We will provide further updates on DeReiss future with TNA and potentially WWE as more information becomes available.
