WWE star Finn Balor has addressed his move from Raw to SmackDown, sharing a message for a number of stars he has history with.

With the King of the Ring bracket reveal following Clash In Italy on May 31 listing Finn Balor as a SmackDown star, the Judgment Day confirmed on the June 1 Raw episode that Balor has officially been moved to the blue brand.

With the inaugural Universal Champion leaving the likes of Dominik Mysterio and JD McDonagh behind, Balor has now turned his attention to nine names on the SmackDown roster to check their allegiances.

Following the announcement of his brand switch, Finn Balor tweeted:

Smackdown

Truth

Friend or Foe? 🧐

Damian Priest, Rhea Ripley and R-Truth are all stars who Balor previously had ties to with the Judgment Day. Balor didn’t end things on good terms with these three stars, with the former NXT Champion part of the plan to kick Priest and Ripley out of the group at SummerSlam 2024.

With Ripley responding to Balor’s tweet with a Jessica Jones “I remember everything” GIF, it doesn’t look like the former Judgment Day members will be having a reunion anytime soon.

Balor’s betrayal of Priest at SummerSlam resulted in GUNTHER – one of the other names on Balor’s list – winning the World Heavyweight Championship from Priest.

Balor and Cody Rhodes’ have shared the ring on a number of occasions, mostly in tag-team matches. Balor and Priest notably traded the Undisputed WWE Tag Team Championship with Cody Rhodes and Jey Uso in October 2023.

Balor and Drew McIntyre’s last singles match saw the Scottish Warrior pick up the win on the June 6, 2024 Raw episode.

The Irish star has shared the ring as both friends and foes with Sami Zayn, with Balor and Priest notably winning the Undisputed WWE Tag Team Championship from Zayn and Kevin Owens at the September 2023 Payback PLE.

Shinsuke Nakamura and Tama Tonga are two of the more interesting names on this list, with both stars’ ties with Finn Balor dating back to their runs in NJPW.

Balor and Nakamura first shared the ring in 2006, head of becoming teammates in the RISE faction. Meanwhile, Balor – fka Prince Devitt – was one of the founding members of the Bullet Club faction in 2013 alongside Tama Tonga, who he is now set to be on the same brand as.

With the latter two names’ recent interactions on SmackDown leading to Tama Tonga attacking Shinsuke Nakamura to assert his allegiance to the MFTs, we could see Balor take a trip down memory lane with Nakamura to help the Japanese star fight the numbers game.
