Finn Balor has commented on The Undertaker’s role in WWE AAA and joked about having to pitch the Demonito puppet to Taker.
Since WWE’s acquisition of AAA last year, the driving forces behind the direction of the brand have been The Undertaker and Jeremy Borash.
Despite perhaps seeming like an odd fit, Taker has drawn some praise recently for how things have been going.
On the latest edition of the Talk’N Shop podcast, Karl Anderson asked Balor about Undertaker’s role after Balor had a few matches in AAA last year.
Balor replied:
“It’s absolutely unbelievable. At first I didn’t really believe it. When I was there at first I was like, ‘Holy cow, that’s Taker!’
“And then of course I’m popping up with Demonito and I’ve gotta pitch that to The Undertaker (laughs).
“So I’m walking over there going, ‘Hey, so Taker, I’ve got this idea…’ and I pull this thing out.
“I wasn’t really sure how it was gonna go down, but it went down well.”

Demonito is the puppet that Finn Balor introduced as the equalizer to Mr Iguana’s iguana puppet, La Yesca.
Balor then opened up about how despite traveling and wrestling all over the world, he still has the hunger to accomplish more.
Finn Balor Still Pushing To Accomplish More
He stated:
“What’s so weird is that I still feel like that kid that has all these dreams that I want to accomplish. I don’t feel like I’ve accomplished anything, I still feel like I have that hunger and that drive to keep going, to keep chasing it.
“Maybe some day I’ll sit back and look backwards and maybe kinda digest what I’ve done then. But until then, I just wanna keep moving forward.”

Finn Balor’s Future In WWE
Finn Balor was initially presented as a top star in WWE when he was called up to the main roster in 2016, becoming the first ever Universal Champion.
However, after having to vacate the title a day later due to an injury suffered in that match, he hasn’t been able to reach the same heights again, despite maintaining a connection with the fans and his incredible ability in the ring.
Ultimately, it’s in WWE’s hands whether Balor is able to ascend to the top of the company again, but he is certainly capable of doing so.
