WWE Champion Cody Rhodes has responded to Roman Reigns’ claim that it was Rhodes’ call to have them kept separate on the Street Fighter movie set.
In a recent interview, Reigns implied that Rhodes wanted to be kept separate from Reigns while they were filming for the movie, claiming that Rhodes was “a little nervous” about Reigns being there.
In a new interview with Adam Glyn, Rhodes responded to Reigns’ claims, saying:
“We never interacted on set, and I believe… what did he say, he said it was my idea?
“I think Roman knows better because we share the same security force, I took half of them when I beat him at WrestleMania, so he should know better.
“But I think he was just nervous. He was new, I had been there already in Australia, I was leaving. He was just nervous.
“I can tell you he did a really good job on the movie though.”

Cody Rhodes Names Next WWE Breakout Star
In the same interview, Rhodes was asked to name the next potential WWE breakout star. He replied:
“I think this one’s fairly obvious. I’ve talked about Trick, and Je’Von is on his way, Bron Breakker‘s on his way. Oba, Oba is definitely a safe bet.
“And then I’ll say somebody who you can tell wants it, and ‘wants it’ really matters to me, and I think might make it – Kit Wilson.”

Kit Wilson’s Rise Up The Ranks In WWE
The past few months have seen Kit Wilson gain popularity and a more prominent spot on WWE TV.
This was largely down to his new entrance music, but it wouldn’t have sustained if Wilson himself hadn’t delivered in his appearances – which he has.
Not only has he shown his entertainment and comedy value, but this past Friday, he also worked a match against Jelly Roll and rightfully gained a lot of praise for how that match went, considering it was only Jelly Roll’s second time in in-ring action.
