CM Punk has compared featuring on the cover of WWE 2K26 with his last experience as the cover star for WWE 13.
Fans are just over one week away from getting their hands on WWE 2K26, with the King of Kings, Attitude Era and Monday Night War versions of the game releasing on March 6 – one week before the standard retail version, which comes out on March 13.
It is the standard version that will feature CM Punk front and center on the cover – his first time on the cover of a WWE video game since the release of WWE 13 in 2012.
Speaking with No Contest Wrestling, Punk stated that getting on the cover of WWE 13 “felt like a big fight,” which was not the case for WWE 2K26.
Punk said:
“I feel great. It really is an honor honestly (being on the WWE 2K26 cover), two times.
The first time felt like a big fight. This time feels like the office is recognizing, ‘Oh yeah, you’re the man.’ To me that means something, It resonates.”

Punk will not only feature on the cover of WWE 2K26, but he will also be the focus of this year’s Showcase Mode – which takes players through some of Punk’s most historic matches in the company, as well as fantasy bouts that never came to fruition.
