Bayley has reacted after taking an upset pinfall loss to Candice LeRae on last night’s WWE SmackDown (October 18).

SmackDown General Manager Nick Aldis had a busy night as always during last night’s show in Columbia, SC – with the show’s match card undergoing several changes.

While much of the focus of fans was on the Motor City Machine Guns’ big debut being changed from a traditional tag team match to a three-way, another tag bout also saw an alteration on the night.

WWE Women’s Champion Nia Jax was originally set to team alongside Ms. Money in the Bank Tiffany Stratton against their recent rivals Bayley and Naomi.

However, Stratton was unable to attend SmackDown due to sickness, forcing a substitute to take her place.

Fresh off becoming the first-ever Women’s WWE Speed Champion, Candice LeRae took Stratton’s place, and actually picked up the pinfall win for her team over Bayley.

Considering LeRae’s lack of prominence on SmackDown recently, the result was considered an upset by fans and forced Bayley to then comment on Twitter afterwards.

Potentially teasing a rematch next week, Bayley wrote:

@CandiceLeRae @indi_hartwell

You waited long enough….. Happy you finally showed up.

See you next week

LeRae’s last victory on mainline WWE programming came all the way back on April 29, where she pinned Maxxine Dupri on Raw.

WrestleTalk will provide further updates if/when any Candice LeRae vs. Bayley rematch gets made official.
