Another name change for a WWE star has been confirmed following an NXT live event match this past weekend.
Last week, WWE filed trademarks for several new talent ring names, one of which was Romeo Moreno.
It is now confirmed that Romeo Moreno is the new name for Jaime Garcia, who previously wrestled as Zozaya before signing with WWE.
At last night’s NXT live event, Moreno debuted his new name in a tag team match, partnering with Malik Blade to defeat Dorian Van Dux and Harlem Lewis.
Dorian Van Dux was also one of the new names trademarked, and is confirmed to be the new name for Mike Derudder, formerly known as Mike D Vecchio.
We also noted last week that Tristan Angels, another newly trademarked name, was confirmed to be for Nathaniel Cranton/Nathan Angel.
Moreno, Van Dux and Angels all signed with WWE last in October 2025 along with Elio LeFleur and Dusan Novakovic.
Other names trademarked by WWE that don’t have their recipients confirmed as of yet are Kai Kavari, CJ Valor and Santi Rivera – we’ll keep you posted when news emerges on who those names are for.
