Another wrestler is set to join WWE’s Cody Rhodes and Roman Reigns in the cast for an upcoming Hollywood movie.
A live action movie version of Street Fighter is set to begin filming soon, and before the shooting has even started, the casting choice has caught the eye of a lot of wrestling fans.
Roman Reigns was the first wrestler announced for the movie, with him later officially being cast in the role of Akuma for the movie.
Roman would later be joined by his major WWE rival Cody Rhodes, with Cody also being cast in the movie, set to play the role of Guile.
However, the cast for the Street Fighter movie is the true ‘Forbidden Door’, as Reigns and Rhodes will be joined by yet another wrestler on the cast, this time from outside of WWE.
Per Fightful Select (subscription required), former IWGP World Heavyweight Champion Hirooki Goto of New Japan Pro Wrestling has also been cast in the movie, with Goto set to portray E Honda.
Goto finally captured his first IWGP World Heavyweight Championship back in February when he defeated Zack Sabre Jr for the title, with him losing the title back to Sabre Jr at Tanahashi Jam on June 29.
