Another wrestler whose contract is set to expire this month has been revealed amid a crazy ongoing contract season.
Numerous NJPW contracts are set to expire in the coming months, including those of Kazuchika Okada and current NEVER Openweight Champion Tama Tonga, who has already revealed he plans on leaving at the end of his deal.
Other names with contracts set to expire with NJPW are Clark Connors and Alex Coughlin of Bullet Club War Dogs, and those aren’t the only two members of the group set to have contracts expire soon.
Per Fightful Select (subscription required), Gabe Kidd’s contract with NJPW is also set to be up at some point in January.
Kidd debuted for NJPW back in January 2020, and has also been a regular for RevPro in the United Kingdom over the past few years.
Kidd is a former NJPW STRONG Openweight Tag Team Champion alongside Alex Coughlin, who is also a potential free agent.
It’s worth noting that Kidd is planned to take part in the 5 on 5 Steel Cage match against the United Empire at New Beginning in Osaka on February 11, which would be after his contract with NJPW is set to expire.
We will provide any updates on potential free agents as they become available.
