Another title change took place on tonight’s WWE NXT show after a title change occurred in the opening match.
Tonight’s WWE NXT show features four championship matches, including an NXT North American Championship main event between Ethan Page and Myles Borne.
The show kicked off with an NXT Tag Team Championship bout, with DarkState facing off against the Vanity Project for the titles, which led to the Vanity Project scoring the win to capture the titles thanks to an assist from Tony D’Angelo.
The second title match of the show was the first-ever Triple Threat Speed match for the WWE Speed Championship, with Jasper Troy defending against both Elio LeFleur and Eli Knight in a seven minute encounter after Knight and LeFleur’s tie last week.
In the end, Eli Knight would hit a Moonsault on Troy, before LeFleur would cover Troy as Knight was recovering, crowning him the new WWE Speed Champion.
LeFleur made his official WWE NXT debut last month, with him coming up short against Ethan Page in his debut match for the North American Championship.
