AJ Styles SummerSlam Opponent Leaked?

SummerSlam season is upon us and in the hype for who will challenge AJ Styles for the WWE Championship at the August spectacular, it would appear that a random advert has put pay to that speculation.

A SummerSlam video advertisement has revealed what the majority of us knew to begin with. And that is Samoa Joe will step up to the ‘Phenomenal One’ to begin a several month long story-arc. Live event venues well into December have even listed the pair to compete for the gold into Christmas.

Whilst all plans can and often do change and this could be a hoax, hey it’s the internet, this is the program that most seem to have forseen for months now. The ‘Samoan Submission Machine’ has been groomed and prepared for the spot ever since he made his way to Smackdown Live in the Superstar Shake-Up. Let’s hope this is a step-up from Styles vs Nakamura and manages to re-capture the magic both men created in TNA.

The blue brand’s General Manager, Paige, will officially announce the August 19 number one contender spot on Tuesday night.
