AJ Styles Allegiance In WWE & TNA Wrestling Invasion Update

An update has emerged regarding AJ Styles’ allegiance in the event of a potential TNA Wrestling invasion of WWE.

During this week’s NXT Homecoming on Tuesday, TNA wrestlers seemingly kicked off a storyline by voicing their anger on social media about not being invited to Homecoming, and about the NXT/TNA partnership in general.

Notably, there will be a ‘winner takes all’ match on next week’s NXT between TNA World Champion Trick Williams and NXT Champion Oba Femi, who are of course both NXT talent, so there won’t even be a TNA representative in the TNA World Title match.

It would appear that match would be the perfect place for an ‘invasion’ angle as it means the match would be thrown out and neither man would have to lose.

However, if a TNA invasion does happen, there are a number of names currently on the WWE roster who have been synonymous with TNA in the past, possibly leading to questions was to whose side they’d be on.

One of those, in more recent years, has been Jordynne Grace, who responded to her former TNA rival Masha Slamovich’s complaints during Homecoming.

A fan replied to Grace, noting:

Ms @JordynneGrace didn’t you and @AJStylesOrg come from TNA? Hmmmm!

Styles, being tagged in the post as well, responded, writing:

No one brand made AJ Styles.

It was ring time, experience and the people I was in the ring with.

Styles actually returned to TNA a matter of weeks ago at Slammiversary to endorse new X-Division Champion Leon Slater.

He kicked off a storyline on Raw last week with a promo in which he claimed someone in WWE management is trying to hold him back and doesn’t want him in the company.
