WWE plans for AJ Lee’s next appearance for the company have been revealed, following the former Divas Champion’s return on SmackDown.
Friday’s (September 5) show ended with AJ Lee making her long-awaited comeback, attacking Becky Lynch and standing tall in the ring with her husband CM Punk.
Amid speculation about her next move, we now know when we’ll next see AJ on WWE TV.
Per PWInsider Elite, AJ has officially signed to return to WWE.
The report noted that the word at Friday’s SmackDown taping was that AJ Lee will appear on the September 8 WWE Raw episode to “seal the deal” and set up her and CM Punk’s Wrestlepalooza match against Seth Rollins and Becky Lynch.
After SmackDown went off the air, AJ took particular interest in Becky Lynch’s Women’s Intercontinental Title belt, as you can see in video footage right here.
A number of notable names have reacted to AJ Lee’s return, including her former frenemy Saraya. You can read Saraya’s message at this link.
