A pair of former AEW World Tag Team Champions appear to be going their separate ways after tonight’s episode of Collision.

Tonight’s show in Cedar Rapids played host to an AEW Women’s World Tag Team Title match with Divine Dominion (Megan Bayne and Lena Kross) defending against the Babes of Wrath (Harley Cameron and Willow Nightingale).

Divine Dominion score the win to retain their title, marking a second consecutive victory over the Babes of Wrath after they won the title from them at Revolution.

Cameron and Nightingale had been the inaugural AEW Women’s World Tag Team Champions by winning the tournament to crown the first title holders in December, defeating the Timeless Love Bombs (Toni Storm and Mina Shirakawa) in the final.

After the match, the Babes of Wrath were backstage comtemplating their future, and seemed to agree to go their separate ways.

They left each other on good terms, with Cameron encouraging Nightingale to focus on her TBS Championship, and saying she’ll always be in her corner to cheer her on as she defends it going forward.

Future Challengers For Divine Dominion’s AEW Women’s World Tag Team Championship

Now that the Babes of Wrath are out of the picture, Divine Dominion will be shifting their attention to defending their championship against a new set of challengers.

Other tag teams in the AEW women’s division include the recently formed Brawling Birds duo of Alex Windsor and Jamie Hayter, as well as the Sisters of Sin, Julia Hart and Skye Blue.

It appears they’re set for a future match, which could lead to the winners becoming the #1 contenders for the championship in the future.

The team of Anna Jay and Tay Melo could be brought back into the equation, but that seems dependent on whether Jay is staying with the company.
