AEW’s MJF Responds To Fans Saying He Should ‘Go Easy’ On His Opponents In Promos

AEW World Champion MJF has responded to fans believing he should ‘go easy’ on his opponents during promo battles.

Over the past six years, MJF has seen his star grow in AEW, with him now being considered among the very best promos in the wrestling industry.

MJF often goes hard on his opponents during promo battles, with some fans noting that he should ‘go easy’ on his opponents as to not make them come across as weaker.

Speaking to You Better You Bet, MJF responded to fans saying he should go easy on opponents.

He responded:

“No. I firmly believe that, if you’re supposed to be at the pinnacle of this sport, if you want to be a part of All Elite Wrestling, if you wanna be a part of the best professional wrestling company in the world; if you cant talk and cant hang with me why is that my problem?

“My job is not to get you over, my job is to get me over. My job is to get three letters over; MJF. The other job is to get another three letters over; AEW. My job ain’t to get over Hangman Adam Page, Swerve Strickland, Moxley, I couldn’t give less of a crap.

“It’s about me, I’m the show, I’m the face of the company. If you wanna step up to the plate and go blow for blow with daddy verbally, you better come prepared because if you don’t, I’m gonna swallow you.”
