A significant WWE title change recently took place, with the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship changing hands at the end of October.
On the October 23 edition of Friday Night SmackDown, Alexa Bliss and Tatum Paxley defended their gold against Michin & B-Fab.
The closing moments of this match saw Michin reverse Tatum Paxley’s Cemetery Drive, and after some interference from Jade Cargill, Michin hit Paxley with a Styles Clash to score the victory.
This victory marked the first time both Michin and B-Fab had won gold in their WWE careers.
Following recent reports and rumors, there has been some speculation about the team which will eventually dethrone the current Women’s Tag Team titleholders.
Here are three tag-teams which could win the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship after Michin & B-Fab.
Fallon Henley & Lainey Reid
Fatal Influence are the most immediate threat to Michin & B-Fab’s title reign, with Lainey Reid and Fallon Henley challenging for the gold on the November 6 SmackDown episode.
This match was pre-taped following Monday Night Raw. Spoilers from this taping can be found right here.
Reid and Henley held the gold earlier this year, dropping the title to Alexa Bliss and Tatum Paxley on the October 9 show.
Having previously reigned with the titles, Fatal Influence could be set for a multi-match feud with the current champions to give them their first real challenge as titleholders.
Nikki & Brie Bella
The Bella Twins have made it no secret that their ultimate goal is to hold the Women’s Tag Team Championship together.
The duo has experienced a lot of misfortune since Brie’s return to the ring in January, with Nikki suffering an ankle injury which forced her to pull out of their title match at WrestleMania 42, and Brie injuring her shoulder blade at SummerSlam in August.
Brie Bella originally expected to be out of action for three to six months, meaning that if her recovery is on schedule, she’ll be preparing for a return within the next three months.
With Nikki Bella indicating that she will finish up with her career at the end of 2027, we will likely see the Bella Twins pursue tag-team gold sooner rather than later.
Tatum Paxley & Lyra Valkyria
This is a rogue shout, however with the duo expressing interest in working together, now is the perfect time to reunite the former NXT teammates.
Curious about their current dynamic, Paxley recently noted:
“I would love to have a long playdate with this Lyra Valkyria and get to know her, because I feel like it was in her this whole time, but I couldn’t get it out.
“Now that it’s out there, I would love to just have a long sit-down with her.”
While Paxley currently has allies in Alexa Bliss and Charlotte Flair, we could see her instead choose to take a trip down memory lane and team with Valkyria once again.
