Surprises for WWE Crown Jewel 2026: Two twists we could see during November 7 PLE

Despite all the security concerns heading into the event, WWE Crown Jewel 2026 is going ahead this Saturday in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

Looking at the card for the show, there are a number of potential surprises we could see happen throughout, including Money in the Bank cash-ins, superstar returns and unexpected interference.

Here are two surprises we could see at WWE Crown Jewel 2026:

Tiffany Stratton spoils Chelsea Green’s Crown Jewel Championship celebration with a surprise cash-in

With Money in the Bank taking place later in 2026 than other years in the past, both the men’s and women’s contracts remain untouched heading into Crown Jewel.

Unlike Penta – who has a World Tag Team Title match to focus on elsewhere in the show – Ms. Money in the Bank Tiffany Stratton has no plans for this Saturday, but it would be a surprise if she doesn’t accompany her close friend Chelsea Green for her Women’s Crown Jewel Championship match against Liv Morgan.

If Stratton’s already in the building, the possibility of a cash-in is obviously also there. WWE has teased Liv Morgan being the target of this in recent weeks, but almost everyone is anticipating Stratton will instead plant a knife in Green’s back and steal her WWE Women’s Championship.

What complicates a cash-in scenario at Crown Jewel is the obligatory presentation of the Crown Jewel Championship belts. Typically Triple H will present the title to the winner, followed by pyro and lots of posing. If a mid-match cash-in was to happen, the post match presentation probably wouldn’t happen either. While that may not be a big deal to fans, it’s clearly something WWE places importance in.

While a mid-match cash-in would scupper these plans, Stratton could always attack Green and execute her title shot AFTER all the pyro had gone off and all the confetti had fallen. In a way, this would be even more unexpected, as Green, Triple H and the fans will have likely let their guard down by that point.

Jacob Fatu returns to ward off The 946

Crown Jewel will be the last PLE stop WWE takes before moving full steam ahead towards Survivor Series on November 28 – a show that is expected to be main evented by The Bloodline vs. The 946 inside WarGames.

While Roman Reigns is guaranteed to be in Riyadh for his Men’s Crown Jewel Title match against Sami Zayn, it’s unclear whether he will be joined by the rest of The Bloodline, and whether The 946 will also be making the trip.

WWE may deem it unnecessary to bring all of these extra bodies to Riyadh, especially given the safety concerns surrounding the show. But strictly from a storyline perspective, it would be an effective stage to help further build Survivor Series’ men’s WarGames match.

With Cruz Montana completing The 946’s five man WarGames team, all that is left is Jacob Fatu making his return and joining up with The Bloodline once again – something we could see happen at Crown Jewel.

If The 946 attempt to cost Roman Reigns his match with Sami Zayn, Fatu could make his return alongside The Bloodline, ensuring that “The OTC” earns another big win and perfectly setting up the men’s WarGames match at Survivor Series.
