A recent match on NXT has been compared to a WrestleMania moment according to WWE Hall of Famer Mark Henry.

The match in question took place on the March 11, 2025, Roadblock special and saw Stephanie Vaquer defeat Giulia to become NXT Wormen’s and Women’s North American Champion.

Speaking on Busted Open Radio, WWE Hall of Famer Mark Henry reflected on the quality of the match and why, to him, it felt like a WrestleMania moment, saying:

“I felt like a WrestleMania moment. Each one of them coming down to the ring with the (pomp) and circumstance of seeing somebody outshine trying to outshine the other.”

Henry would go on to compare the entrances to a Las Vegas show before stating that their staredown felt like an old martial arts movie where two enemies weight each other up before starting their fight.

The WWE legend would then go on to discuss how Giulia and Vaquer’s shared history was evident in the WrestleMania moment match, stating:

“There was no rust or wasted movement, both of these women got to show what they could do.

“I was pulling for Giulia, I always pull for the champ, but I have to admit it: she was bested tonight.”

Henry would also state that he hopes they’ll face each other again, ideally saving some of what they can do for a main roster call-up.

It was reported that Giulia had lost the NXT Women’s Championship at Roadblock due to a ‘minor’ visa issue and an ‘undisclosed’ injury.

Previously, Vaquer had revealed the reason why she chose to join NXT instead of moving to the main WWE roster after signing in July 2024.
