WWE Chief Content Officer Triple H has commented on the numerous new main roster stars who will be making their WrestleMania debuts this weekend.
WrestleMania 42 will see a number of stars wrestle on the Grandest Stage of Them All for the first time, with Oba Femi, Trick Williams and Stephanie Vaquer to make their WrestleMania debuts in major one-on-one matches.
Speaking with Joe Tessitore in a WWE interview, Triple H stated that his aim has been to build the next generation of stars while the current top names are at the peak of their primes.
Triple H explained:
“When the Performance Center and NXT were developed, it was with this in mind. This is the perfect example of that, you’re at this time when there are massive stars within the company. They’re in their prime but at the peak of it, the place where you go from the peak is down, so what is next?
“As you begin to prepare, we had a year just now where there were a lot of goodbyes. The end of 2025, the second half of 2025 was built on goodbyes, John Cena, AJ Styles. You saw a lot of goodbyes, a lot of changing of the guard.
“And you already see in a few short months… Look at Oba. Oba in a few short weeks has become the talk of the town. You can’t look on social media without seeing somebody doing (Oba Femi’s walk).”
