Continued fractures formed tonight between one pair of allies while it seemed another duo strengthened on WWE SmackDown.
On tonight’s WWE SmackDown (October 25), there were more updates on the growing rift between WWE Women’s Champion Nia Jax and her recent teammate, Money in the Bank holder Tiffany Stratton.
In a backstage segment tonight, Nia Jax greeted Tiffany Stratton coldly, telling her that in Stratton’s absence last week (due to illness), Jax found a new friend in the form of Candice LeRae.
After Candice LeRae picked up the pinfall victory against Bayley in her tag team match with Nia last week, Jax told Tiffany that she was sending LeRae to take on Naomi tonight.
Stratton looked confused as to how she had been replaced so quickly, but LeRae, who is still running with Indi Hartwell, was dismissive of any hesitation.
During the match, LeRae would distract the referee while Indi Hartwell would attack Naomi and roll her back into the ring.
However, Bayley would run out to attack Hartwell as Naomi picked up the win over LeRae.
With Jax set to take on Women’s World Champion Liv Morgan at the upcoming WWE Crown Jewel premium live event, Tiffany Stratton has a unique chance to cash in on either at the event.
WWE Crown Jewel 2024 is set for Saturday November 2 from Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
