There has been yet another brand switch announced on tonight’s WWE SmackDown as tag team is switching brands.
The WWE transfer window picked up tonight (January 25), with multiple moves between Raw and SmackDown.
As covered earlier, both The Miz and Damian Priest have officially been moved from Raw to SmackDown as of tonight.
However, later in the show we found out there’s a tag team going in the opposite direction.
As mentioned in our earlier story covering The Miz’s switch, Nick Aldis had advised him to find some new backup in case the Wyatt Sicks come after him on SmackDown.
Miz did exactly that, as in a later backstage segment he was shown talking to Austin Theory and Grayson Waller, pitching they form a group together.
It all seemed to be going well until Aldis showed up again.
Miz’s attempts to recruit Theory and Waller were short-lived, as Aldis informed them that they’ll actually be moving from SmackDown to Raw.
Theory and Waller seemed pretty happy about this news, but Miz, of course, was not, and now he’ll have to find someone else if he wants protection from the Wyatts.
