WWE Tag Team Potentially Splitting Up

A WWE tag team is potentially splitting up after their tensions grew more obvious on tonight’s edition of WWE SmackDown.

After backstage tension between Tiffany Stratton and Nia Jax, there was movement in the potential downfall of their friendship.

While Tiffany Stratton explained her apparent gesture towards cashing in her Money in the Bank briefcase last week on Nia Jax as merely a distraction, Jax seemed unimpressed by the story.

It didn’t seem that Jax bought the excuse and rather went on to tell Tiffy that perhaps Jax would ‘help’ Stratton at ringside in the same way tonight for Stratton’s match against Bayley.

As it turns out, Jax did come out to ringside for the match, and in her attempt to distract the referee, effectively cost Stratton the match as she had Bayley pinned for more than three seconds, but the referee wasn’t able to count due to being distracted by Jax.

Shortly after, Bayley picked up the win as the tease of an eventual Stratton cash-in on Jax for the WWE Women’s Championship continues.

Elsewhere set for tonight’s show, a main event eight-man tag featuring the Bloodline against the Street Profits and DIY.

Announced for next week’s main event when WWE SmackDown moves to USA Network, a steel cage match for Cody Rhodes.
