WWE Hall of Famer Stone Cold Steve Austin has once again proved his fortitude, winning a near six-hour race across the Nevada desert.
Having been a desert race competitor since 2023, Steve Austin was the grand marshal and a competitor in last year’s Mint 400.
This year, Austin took his driving prowess to the Prospector 250 in Nevada, setting out in a Kawasaki Teryx H2 and claiming victory in the nearly six-hour race across the desert.
The victory was celebrated by the Kawasaki USA Twitter account, with a message that reads:
“Steve Austin victorious at the Prospector 250! After nearly six hours of racing across the Nevada desert
“@SteveAustinBSR supercharged his way to the Stock Mod Pro Class win—a breakthrough Pro victory for Austin, and for the Teryx4 H2.”
The post was accompanied by photos of the vehicle in action as well as the WWE Hall of Famer himself.
With the two-night WrestleMania 42 just weeks away, Austin is set to take part in WWE World in Las Vegas, Nevada on April 18 & 19.
One More Match For Stone Cold?
Last competing at WWE WrestleMania 38 in April 2022, Stone Cold Steve Austin was victorious over Kevin Owens in their No Holds Barred Match.
Marking his first match since WrestleMania 19 back in 2003, a year rarely goes by without fans speculating the possibility of one more match for the Texas Rattlesnake.
The subject was covered in a previous podcast interview, with Austin not ruling out the possibility of an exhibition match in the future, but noting he was “totally at peace” with his showing at WrestleMania 38.
Austin hasn’t been a stranger to WrestleMania, appearing at last year’s event in an ATV during night two and announcing the attendance at the Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas.
With this year’s WrestleMania taking place at the same venue as last year’s WWE PLE, and Steve Austin in the same city, there’s every chance that he could make his presence felt once again.
Will he lace up his boots one more time? John Cena and AJ Styles have both retired, with other veteran stars no doubt looking at the end of their in-ring careers. There has to be a number of stars who would look at one more match with Austin as an ideal way to bring an end to their respective runs.
