A WWE star will be wrestling with a broken thumb tonight, as revealed during the NXT No Mercy 2025 pre-show.
One of the matches on the No Mercy card tonight is a weaponized steel cage match between Blake Monroe and Jordynne Grace.
During the pre-show, host Megan Morant announced that Grace is entering the match with a broken thumb.
Morant explained that Grace has been cleared to compete in the match, but she will be wrestling while wearing the cast.
Reacting to this news, co-host Sam Roberts said:
“You know what happened when Nelson Muntz finally took a hit? They made him bleed his own blood and it only made him more dangerous, it only made him more angry.
“Not only has Jordynne Grace now felt that physical pain of a broken thumb but she’s walking in with a cast, that cast is a weapon as well don’t forget.”

The issues between Grace and Monroe have been going ever since Monroe joined WWE, as they started teaming together when she arrived.
However, it wasn’t long before Monroe turned on Grace at WWE Evolution, and the pair have been feuding ever since.
They did have a match against each other at NXT’s last premium live event, Heatwave, which was won by Monroe.
Elsewhere at NXT No Mercy tonight, Oba Femi defends the NXT Championship against Ricky Saints, and Jacy Jayne puts the NXT Women’s Championship on the line against Lola Vice.
Also, Tavion Heights challenges Ethan Page for the NXT North American Title, Lainey Reid faces WWE Speed Women’s Champion Sol Ruca with the championship on the line, and Je’Von Evans takes on Josh Briggs.
