WWE Star Announced For WrestleMania 42 Week Show

Another WWE name has been announced for a show outside of the company during WrestleMania 42 week in Las Vegas.

One of the yearly traditions of WrestleMania season is the surrounding independent shows that take place around WrestleMania itself.

One of those that has continued to grow in reputation is Josh Barnett’s Bloodsport, which has been featuring some WWE talent for the past couple of years.

Another current WWE name has now been announced for this year’s WrestleMania weekend Bloodsport event in the form of Timothy Thatcher.

Josh Barnett announced:

If it’s Bloodsport, then you know this man will be there to showcase his Catch-as-Catch-can prowess.

A day-1 of Josh Barnett’s: Bloodsport, you’ll not find a wrestler more ready for combat.

Timothy Thatcher is returning to Josh Barnett’s: Bloodsport 4/17, Wrestlemania Week.

While he is still working indie dates, Timothy Thatcher is signed to WWE as a coach for Evolve and the WWE ID program, and has appeared and wrestled on Evolve semi-regularly over the past year.

Among the other names announced for Bloodsport so far are WWE Raw star Pete Dunne (Rayo Americano) and Shayna Baszler, who has made some NXT appearances recently but isn’t officially under contract.
