WWE star Liv Morgan thinks WrestleMania 42 might end up being the “number one” moment of her career thus far.
After winning her first Women’s Royal Rumble Match on January 31 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, Liv Morgan is officially heading to WrestleMania 42 to challenge WWE Women’s World Champion Stephanie Vaquer – who she hand-picked over WWE Women’s Champion Jade Cargill.
Speaking to Director’s Cut Radio, Morgan was asked where in her career this year’s WrestleMania season ranks, with the 31-year-old tipping it to potentially rank as number one once the dust has settled on the two-night event.
Morgan said:
“I think for me it might end up ranking as number one because after 11 years of hard work and dedication I finally certified myself a spot in the WrestleMania event.
“Which day I don’t know, but it doesn’t matter because I’m going to walk out a champion. So, I’m super excited.”

Liv Morgan Looks Ahead To WWE Backlash 2026 In Adopted “Hometown” Of Tampa
As is tradition, following WrestleMania will be WWE Backlash, with this year’s event set to take place in Tampa, Florida on Saturday, May 9.
With Morgan full of confidence regarding the result of her match with Stephanie Vaquer in Las Vegas, The Judgment Day star has one eye on walking into her adopted hometown of Tampa as the brand new Women’s World Champion.
Morgan said:
“WrestleMania to me kind of signifies the start of the wrestling year. We work all year to lead into WrestleMania, to tell these stories and have these matches at WrestleMania, and once it’s done it kind of feels like a reset.
“So, Backlash being the first PLE in the wrestling year as far as I’m concerned in Tampa, where I am currently from, so I kind of feel like the hometown hero walking in a brand new champion.
“So you can expect excitement, chaos and I’m known to be a little bit messy so you can expect a mess.”

What Plans Do WWE Have For The Rest Of The Judgment Day At WrestleMania 42?
While Liv Morgan is primed for a Women’s World Championship opportunity at WrestleMania 42, the path to “The Showcase of the Immortals” is less clear for the rest of The Judgment Day at this time.
Following Finn Balor’s removal from the group on the March 9 episode of Raw, fans would anticipate that he will be out for revenge against AAA Mega Champion Dominik Mysterio and/or long-time former friend JD McDonagh.
While Raquel Rodriguez could have potentially joined the hunt for the WWE Women’s Tag Team Titles at WrestleMania 42 if Roxanne Perez was fit and healthy to return, it’s currently unclear when “The Prodigy” will be back.
Rodriguez has recently had issues with IYO SKY stemming from both women chasing AJ Lee’s Women’s Intercontinental Title, so perhaps their could be an avenue for both to find their way onto the WrestleMania 42 card should that rivalry continue.
