Injured WWE star Shotzi has commented on missing her Elimination Chamber opportunity ahead of tonight’s WWE SmackDown.

On the February 13 edition of WWE NXT, SmackDown’s Shotzi challenged NXT Women’s Champion Lyra Valkyria to a title bout next week.

The match was filmed following the live show, which saw Shotzi suffer a knee injury that will cause her to miss some time from the ring.

The former WWE Women’s Tag Team Champion was scheduled to face Tiffany Stratton on the February 16 episode of SmackDown. However, Nick Aldis announced that Zelina Vega will replace her in the bout.

On Friday afternoon ahead of the show, Shotzi took to social media to comment on missing the match and opportunity to perform at Elimination Chamber in Perth, Australia. She wrote:

I don’t have much to say right now other than I am devastated. It’s heartbreaking to be missing my Elimination Chamber opportunity tonight. But I just wanted to wish all the women competing good luck. I’ll open up more about how I’m feeling and my injury later. @WWE
