A WWE star has reacted to their current rival causing them to lose their first singles match since returning to the company.
On last night’s episode of SmackDown, a new number one contender to LA Knight’s United States Championship was crowned, when Santos Escobar scored a victory over Andrade.
Andrade lost the match when his recent rival Carmelo Hayes appeared, costing him the opportunity to challenge for the United States Championship.
Andrade made his return to WWE back at the Royal Rumble in January, and in the seven months since, has yet to taste a defeat in singles competition, with his last singles defeat prior to last night being at AEW Worlds End against Miro in December.
Taking to Twitter, Andrade reacted to Hayes’ explanation to costing him the match, claiming that it was a ‘stupid decision’.
He said:
First loss in a singles match after 7 months in @WWE You ruined it!!!
@Carmelo_WWE Niño!!!! Stupid decision!!!
