WWE Raw has its Netflix debut on January 6, 2025, on a show that will return to the three-hour format fans are familiar with.
News that WWE Raw would reportedly be a three-hour show on Netflix recently came from a “key player” in the company.
The January 6 episode of WWE Raw is expected to be a major debut, with Director of Character Development Rob Fee describing it as “WrestleMania-adjacent.”
While WWE Raw may have picked up Logan Paul, another star is likely to be absent from the debut episode according to Dr Chris Featherstone of Sportskeeda.
Addressing the debut episode on Netflix, Featherstone states that Randy Orton is “currently not scheduled to be a part of the debut episode.”
Orton last wrestled on the October 25 episode of WWE SmackDown, teaming with Cody Rhodes to take on Imperium (GUNTHER & Ludwig Kaiser).
The November 8 episode of WWE SmackDown would see him become the victim of an attack by Kevin Owens, as can be seen in highlights below this news story.
Orton was later diagnosed by medical personnel with it being stated he had suffered “cervical cord neuropraxia” with “no timetable for his return.”
