A WWE star has revealed that they may need another surgery to address an injury that happened before the one that is currently sidelining him.

Ridge Holland suffered a foot injury during a match taped for the October 9 episode of TNA Wrestling.

Having undergone surgery for the Lisfranc injury, which affects the part of the foot where the mid- and forefoot meet, Holland issued an emotional statement after the procedure.

He has now provided an update on his progress, revealing that he is to visit a specialist, but also addressing a separate injury in a post on Twitter, saying:

“Next Tuesday, I’ve gotta go to Birmingham, Alabama to have the cast cut off and more X-rays to make sure that foot’s all good and that we can go, possibly, to partial weight-bearing.

“But, the kicker is that prior to the foot, I had a neck injury that I was going to get imaging for. I got imaging for that post-foot surgery and I’m going to Birmingham to also see the neck specialist.

“Worst-case scenario, I need neck surgery. I’m hoping for the best-case scenario, which is injections. But, I’m having some nerve impingement, which is sending pain down my arm.

“So, I’m a little bit apprehensive about what’s gonna happen cos it’s just another kick in the balls really.  It never rains, it pours, but I’ll keep you posted.”
