More details have emerged on a WWE star leaving the company as they have now commented further on their decision.
After she was written out of Fatal Influence on this week’s NXT, it emerged that Jazmyn Nyx would be leaving WWE at the end of her contract.
Nyx would go on to reveal that she rejected the offer made by WWE to re-sign her as she felt it wasn’t enough financially.
She has now further reiterated the reasons for her decision on her Snapchat, writing:
Ultimately it came down to the work I was putting in and being booked for was not accurate with the amount I was being offered. And no I was not making 6 figures but that is the goal
When asked if her injuries had played a part in the decision, she pointed out the physical toll that wrestling had been taking on her body during her time with WWE, noting:
Not specifically my injuries, but the wear and tear that the job had on my body was one of the reasons. I was wrestling for both TNA and NXT every Tuesday and on the weekends without a day off
Nyx joined WWE in late 2022, making her NXT TV debut in early 2024, when she and Jacy Jayne betrayed Chase U and proceeded as a tag team, soon adding Fallon Henley to form Fatal Influence.
