Sky now goes on to face Lyra Valkyria on December 30 with the winner going taking on the victor of Zoey Stark vs. Dakota Kai in the finals.

After the match, in footage shared on Twitter, Natalya opened up to R-Truth backstage, as can be seen below this news story, saying:

“I just feel like such a failure. I just…”

R-Truth would show his support for Natalya in the wake of defeat, saying:

“No, stop it, you’re not a failure. You’re the BOAT. You win some, you lose some.

“Life’s a butch and you can’t just be butching about it, you know what I’m saying.”

This would bring out Pete Dunne who has had something of an issue with R-Truth recently, who said:

“Oi, listen, I told you to keep that name out of your mouth or I was going to break your jaw.”

Before Dunne could say any more, Natalya would step in to defend her fellow WWE veteran, telling him:

“Hey, you do not talk to Truth like that, you hear me.”

Suitably chastised, Dunne would reconsider his actions before saying:

“You know what, this has gone on long enough. I’m done with you, I’m sick of you.

“Next week, me and you in that ring and I’ll shut you up for good.”

With Dunne walking off, Truth (sporting Natalya’s hat) would go on to say:

“Now all three of us have got a problem with Butch.”

Natalya would point out that “Life really is a butch”, further sharing her feelings in a later Twitter post that read:

“What I do know is, I need to work harder. And I promise you, I will. #WWERaw”

She would follow this up with a longer post, going into more details, posting:

“There’s so much more I want to say, but I don’t know how to. I wake up everyday worried that I wont be able to realize my full potential.

“It haunts me. More than I can say. But I’ll never stop fighting. I’ll never stop showing up for my dreams. I love and appreciate everyone who’s fought hard with me. You guys are truly the best. ❤️”

It was previously reported that there had been a backstage push for Natalya to be the inaugural WWE Women’s Intercontinental Champion.
