A WWE star has described his new entrance theme and titantron as the “icing on the cake” following his recent character change.

After months with a lack of clear direction following Elton Prince’s serious neck injury in May 2025, Kit Wilson has come into his own as a singles act in recent months – with his new entrance theme and titantron capturing the imagination of WWE fans.

While Wilson’s theme only truly blossomed in popularity after his January 2 match on SmackDown with Matt Cardona, he actually had introduced beforehand on Main Event months earlier.

Discussing how his new presentation had been “brewing” with Chris Van Vliet on Insight, Wilson said:

“Yeah, this character and iteration of Kit Wilson has been brewing, we’ve been testing a few things, working on a few things. The theme song was one of those.

“We created the tron, we had that loaded for a little bit of time, but I was doing those Main Event matches before SmackDown, using the song, just kind of getting used to it, trying to figure out what my entrance was. And then the SmackDown came with the tron, and everything clicked and now everything really feels its coming together as a whole package.”

After Van Vliet pointed out that Wilson is one of the few WWE stars with a proper titantron for their entrance, Wilson detailed how he received the much-praised video package, saying:

“It was just happenstance, circumstance, timing of it all. So much of it in this company and this job is that.

“I had the music and it was hitting big, and there’s a guy backstage who does a lot go good work called Temarrio, he put forward, ‘I think we can do something good with this, with a tron, we think we can do a music video for this.’

“Instantly I said, ‘Where do you need me? How can we do it?’ And then within a week or the second week, I was at the PC in Orlando filming it with the team there, (Jeremy) Borash and Rob Fee, and we just did a ton of stuff.

“I had so many outfit changes we got it all filmed. I saw the preview, then I saw the preview the next week, and it again just evolves, it evolves and evolves and here we are.”

On the titantron and theme song being the thing to really “get him over” with the fans, Wilson said:

“Yeah it’s big. Again, it feels like things were clicking in place. ‘Right I got new gear,’ that felt right. Then there’s a little tweak here, a new necklace, the music, the tron was the icing on the cake. It was the ribbon onto the present, it was the final bit of the presentation that makes it so special.”
