A WWE star has shared an emotional reaction to their defeat on last night’s SmackDown show, losing their chance to go to WrestleMania.
Last night’s SmackDown show featured a Women’s Tag Team Gauntlet match, with the winning team set to challenge Liv Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez for the Women’s Tag Team Championship at WrestleMania 41.
The match featured Bayley teaming with Women’s Intercontinental Champion Lyra Valkyria to start the Gauntlet, with Pure Fusion Collective, Kayden Carter and Katana Chance, Michin and B-FAB, Natalya and Maxxine Dupri and the Secret Hervice rounding out the field.
This was Maxxine and Natalya’s first time teaming following week’s of teambuilding between them, with Natalya looking to mentor Maxxine.
However, Maxxine ended up losing the match for the team, with her attempting a Sharpshooter on Bayley, with Bayley countering the move into a cradle to eliminate the pair.
Taking to Twitter following the match, Maxxine attempted to reach out to her partner after her loss, saying:

Lyra and Bayley ended up running the Gauntlet, with them set to challenge Liv and Raquel at WrestleMania 41.
Natalya is set to compete at Josh Barnett’s Bloodsport XIII over WrestleMania week in Las Vegas.
