A WWE star has broken character to praise Kit Wilson who has continued to grow in popularity over the past few months.
Since Elton Prince suffered an injury last year and effectively put Pretty Deadly on pause, Kit Wilson has been working on his own and has recently seen a surge in popularity.
With his new theme song and anti-toxic masculinity gimmick, Wilson’s following and fans have grown, as has his prominence on WWE TV.
Matt Cardona was one of the names that Wilson recently identified as being “toxic” and feuded with on SmackDown.
In a new clip shared on his social media, Cardona revealed what he actually thinks of Wilson taking their characters out of the equation.
He said:
“Matt Cardona the wrestler thinks Kit is toxic.
“Matt Cardona the wrestling fan thinks Kit Wilson is the best, and if I was purely a fan, he’d be the one I’d be rooting for.
“I’d be following him on social media, I’d be liking all his stuff, buying his shirt when it’s available, bringing the signs, all that stuff.
“If it was like the 2011/2012 era, Kit would be in the car with me, Ziggler, Morrison, he would fit right in.
“He’d drive us and carry our bags, but he’d be in there.”
