A potential WWE call-up in NXT has named the dream opponent that they’d like to face on the current main roster.
Sol Ruca signed with WWE in March 2022 and has gone on to be the current NXT Women’s North American Champion.
With reports that she may be set for a main roster call-up in the near future, Ruca has recently revealed the star she’d most like to face.
Speaking on Ten Count Media, Ruca named IYO SKY as the opponent she’d like to face if she could choose anyone, saying:
“IYO SKY, for sure. I think my answer changes a lot but right now, definitely IYO SKY.”
Part of the reason, Ruca would note, is due to her feud with Rhea Ripleyw, with the NXT star going on to suggest a Triple Threat between them, stating:
“Watching her and Rhea (Ripley) just tear it up all the time. I would love to have a Triple Threat with them, but if I had to choose one, definitely IYO.”
Ripley and SKY are currently seemingly on the same page, although the relationship between The Eradicator, Asuka and Kairi Sane is a touch fraught after last night’s WWE Raw.
Along with being NXT Women’s North American Champion, Sol Ruca is also the WWE Women’s Speed Champion, although that show appears to have been ‘quietly dropped‘ according to a recent report.
