What Happened Before WWE SmackDown Went On The Air

Here’s what happened before today’s March 28 episode of WWE SmackDown at the O2 Arena in London, England went on the air.

As the WWE European tour continues, today’s SmackDown takes place live at 8pm UK time, but will air in the US at its normal time slot on delay.

Before SmackDown itself kicked off, a dark match took place for the fans in attendance.

That match was DIY (Johnny Gargano and Tommaso Ciampa) against the Motor City Machine Guns (Chris Sabin and Alex Shelley) in tag team action, in a rematch from their feud over the WWE Tag Team Championship that included a 2/3 falls match at Royal Rumble.

It was MCMG who picked up the win in today’s dark match.

Elsewhere in the tag team division, today’s SmackDown broadcast will see the Street Profits defend the WWE Tag Team Championship against England’s Pretty Deadly.

Also, debuting today is WWE SmackDown’s new ring announcer Mark Shunock of ESPN’s Top Rank Boxing, using the name Mark Nash.

We’ll keep you posted with all the news from SmackDown as it takes place.
