Hello and welcome to WrestleTalk’s live coverage of WWE SmackDown. It’s the first SmackDown since WWE presented Survivor Series this past weekend. In what’s becoming a pretty regular occurrence, WWE has advertised very little for the show as this report is getting published around 7:15 EST.
It seems Daniel Bryan is going to be getting a bit of a push as we head into the new year and he continues to feud with Roman Reigns and Jey Uso. Carmella has posted a warning to Sasha Banks. Other than that, WWE is pretty silent on social media tonight just an hour before the show is supposed to start.

WWE just posted the following on social media for tonight’s show:
- The Street Profits vs. Roode and Ziggler
- Otis vs. King Corbin
- Daniel Bryan vs. Sami Zayn
