“WWE Week” on USA Network continues on Friday night with the season premiere of SmackDown on September 13, 2024.
It was previously reported that World Heavyweight Champion GUNTHER will be making in attendance for tonight’s SmackDown.
A steel cage match was also confirmed for WWE SmackDown between Solo Sikoa of The Bloodline and Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes.
This comes after The Bloodline made a surprise appearance on WWE NXT with the reason for that creative move now revealed.
With SmackDown’s USA Network premiere mere hours away, Corey Graves has shared his thoughts on Twitter, posting:
“Woke up with a feeling that tonight is gonna be special. Here. We. Go.

With the channel change from FOX, there are also changes for the companion show SmackDown Lowdown.
As recently reported, SmackDown Lowdown is typically uploaded the day after the show itself on WWE Network and YouTube.
With the show moving to USA Network, it has been reported it will now be live on Peacock and the WWE Network after the main show itself.
This isn’t the only change to affect WWE programming, with it being reported that NXT will no longer have overruns when it premieres on CW in October.
