A new report has revealed WWE star Blair Davenport is set to receive more TV time with SmackDown’s move to three hours.

The January 3 edition of Friday Night SmackDown will mark the show’s first time moving to three hours.

This new format will give the company more television time and should provide more opportunities for their talented roster.

Some fans have been wondering which stars will be in line to receive a bigger spotlight with the program expanding to three hours.

On January 3, Dr. Chris Featherstone of Sportskeeda Wrestling took to social media to share an update ahead of tonight’s SmackDown three-hour premiere. He wrote:

Tonight marks the first WWE #SmackDown  of the new 3-hour format.

I was informed that internally, a major focus will be to showcase more underutilized talent on the program.

As I previously reported, Blair Davenport has been a name discussed for more television time and will “be off and running” with the new format.

Blair Davenport last wrestled on WWE TV in a loss during the Women’s United States Championship tournament on the November 22 episode of SmackDown.

WrestleTalk will provide any further updates heading into tonight’s January 3 episode of SmackDown when they become available.
