A WWE star made their NXT TV debut last night, although was unable to secure the victory and has now shared their thoughts after the match.
Skylar Raye made her televised NXT debut on November 11, having previously competed on house shows and WWE LFG.
Previously known to fans as Dani Sekelsky, she was repackaged as Skylar Raye earlier this month, having won the second season of WWE LFG.
The recent of NXT saw Raye in a losing effort against Fallon Henley in the WWE Women’s Speed Championship Tournament Semi Final.
With a televised loss in the history books, Raye has reacted to her defeat, noting that she is “just getting started” in a Tweet that reads:
“Debuted on NXT, went toe to toe in the ring with a veteran and multi-time champion in NXT, and I HELD MY OWN.
“NXT, thank you for the warm welcome… I’m just getting started! 💙💫 #SkysTheLimit”
Henley’s title record in WWE has seen her hold the NXT Women’s North American and Women’s Tag Team Championship.
She now goes on to face Zaria for the vacant WWE Women’s Speed Champion at NXT Gold Rush on November 25.
Former WWE Women’s Speed Champion Sol Ruca was recently cleared to make a return from injury and will face Blake Monroe as she attempts to recapture the NXT Women’s North American Championship on next week’s Gold Rush special.
November 18 will see her accompanied by Zaria, with Ruca supporting her teammate on the following week’s show for the very championship she was also forced to vacate.
