Former WWE Star Addresses First Championship Win Since Departure

A former star has commented on securing their first championship win since departing WWE, hinting at future plans.

In August of last year, Karrion Kross and Scarlett both saw their contracts expire, with the pair parting ways with the company for a second time.

With the pair now back on the independent scene as Killer Kross and Scarlett Bordeaux, the former WWE stars captured championships in Romania.

Competing at Romanian Pro Wrestling Spring Slam on March 1, Kross became the RPW Heavyweight Champion, while Bordeaux claimed the RPW Queen of the Castle Championship.

Bordeaux has now addressed her first championship since parting ways with WWE, sharing her thoughts on Twitter, posting:

“I’m the Women’s Champion of @RPWRomania, and I’m still trying to process it. Winning this title in Romania, a place that’s part of my roots, is something I’m still taking in. ❤️🇷🇴

“And on top of that… @AmaleFrenchHope and I became the first women’s main event in the company’s history. Something I’m incredibly proud to have been a part of.

“Kross is on a mission to shine a brighter spotlight on the European independent wrestling market. He knows there’s a powerful, passionate fanbase waiting for more live action, and he’s ready to bring it to them.

“Now I’m heading home with the gold I earned and a fire that refuses to dim. And trust me, this is only the beginning. 🏆🔥”

The post was accompanied by a photo of Kross holding the RPW Heavyweight Championship and wearing the MLW World Heavyweight title, next to Bordeaux and her RPW Queen of the Castle Championship.

Kross has previously revealed what happened during the contract talks that would eventually see the pair depart WWE.

I’m the Women’s Champion of @RPWRomania and I’m still trying to process it. Winning this title in Romania, a place that’s part of my roots is something I’m still taking in. ❤️🇷🇴
