Squid Game Season 2 is no longer to king of the Netflix Top 10 thanks to the first WWE Raw to broadcast on the streaming platform.
The second series of the South Korean dystopian thriller had its Netflix debut on December 26, 2024, clocking up 68 million views in its first three days.
Netflix would confirm that Squid Game Season 2 smashed Top 10 records around the world, ranking at Number 1 in 92 countries.
Forbes has now reported that the WWE Raw premiere on Netflix has knocked the series off the number one spot in the United States of America.
The report goes on to state that Squid Game is “still doing amazingly” with Paul Tassi of Forbes stating that the first week numbers, when released, could be “be potentially record-breaking just like the early premiere was.”
Stephanie McMahon, who attended the WWE Raw premiere on Netflix with her husband, Triple H, has tweeted the Forbes story, as can be seen below.
Over in AEW, it was recently revealed that the Young Bucks wanted to come to the ring in Squid Game themed gear but had to abandon those plans.

“If you thought Squid Game season 2, was going to stay on top of Netflix’s top 10 list you’d be wrong. In America it has been unseated at #1 by @WWE Monday Night RAW” MQ @TripleH https://t.co/CQyPTsJI6U— Stephanie McMahon (@StephMcMahon) January 8, 2025
