Three particular WWE stars received praise in a company employee meeting hosted by Triple H, Nick Khan and Mark Shapiro.
After the Royal Rumble this past weekend, Triple H referred to the event as the true beginning of a new era as some new stars have been joining the main roster recently.
Among those names in the Royal Rumble matches were Oba Femi, Je’Von Evans and Sol Ruca, who have all been called up from NXT – or on the verge of being called up in Ruca’s case – in the past few weeks and months.
As reported by PWInsider Elite, WWE held what was described as an “all hands on deck” employee Town Hall meeting yesterday.
Hosting the meeting were WWE President Nick Khan, Chief Content Officer Paul Levesque (Triple H), and TKO President & COO Mark Shapiro.
A note coming out of the meeting is that there was particular praise for Femi, Evans and Ruca and their work at the Royal Rumble. A previous report also indicated there had been praise for them within the company.
The Rumble event itself was also praised by company executives.
Another point of discussion was the CM Punk and Roman Reigns promo on WWE Raw ahead of their WrestleMania 42 main event match, and how strong the promo was in setting the stage for Mania itself.
