WWE’s plans for the October 20 episode of Raw have now been revealed with Seth Rollins being seemingly written off of TV last week.
The October 13 episode of WWE Raw saw The Vision’s Bron Breakker, Bronson Reed and Paul Heyman abandon the side of their leader Seth Rollins, with Breakker and Reed delivering a Spear and Tsunami to the World Heavyweight Champion.
WWE’s sharp pivot in their creative direction for The Vision was reportedly due to Rollins suffering an injury to his left shoulder during his match with Cody Rhodes at WWE Crown Jewel.
Rollins is set to undergo surgery as a result.
With Rollins potentially facing months on the sidelines, WWE has now made an announcement regarding tomorrow night’s episode of Monday Night Raw in Sacramento, CA, with Raw General Manager Adam Pearce set to officially provide an update on Rollins during the show.
It was also confirmed that Bron Breakker, Bronson Reed and Paul Heyman will speak on the show, with WWE’s official preview stating the following:
Raw General Manager Adam Pearce is set to give an update on World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins after what transpired on the Oct. 13 episode of Monday Night Raw.
The Visionary was on top of the world after defeating Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes to win the Crown Jewel Championship, but it all came crashing down in unforgettable fashion.
Bron Breakker and Bronson Reed destroyed The Visionary, leaving him down while Breakker held up the World Heavyweight Title.
What is next for Breakker and Reed as well as “The Oracle” Paul Heyman? Find out live on Monday Night Raw at 8e/5p on Netflix.
It’s not yet clear what WWE’s plans are for the World Heavyweight Championship following Rollins’ injury, with reports stating that “The Visionary” was set to defend his title against CM Punk at Saturday Night’s Main Event in Salt Lake City on November 1.
Punk officially became the number one contender to the title on last Monday’s Raw, defeating Jey Uso and LA Knight in a three-way.
We will provide further updates on the situation as they become available.
