NXT stars made appearances on tonight’s WWE SmackDown live from Orlando, Florida nearby the home of the Performance Center.
Shown in the crowd of tonight’s episode of SmackDown, two NXT champions were at ringside to check out the competition.
During a match between Blair Davenport and Naomi, current WWE NXT Women’s Champion Roxanne Perez was shown visiting at ringside.
In conjunction with the appearance were graphics promoting NXT’s upcoming move to the CW Network, and live shows in Chicago and St Louis on October 1 and 8.
Also ahead of Kevin Owens taking on Grayson Waller, there was another NXT star shown in the crowd.
NXT Champion ‘All Ego’ Ethan Page was also shown as having a ringside seat to watch the action tonight in Orlando.
In a third appearance, former NXT Champion Trick Williams was shown in the crowd before the match between the Street Profits and DIY.
The October 1 NXT in Chicago will feature a special appearance from CM Punk, while the St Louis show a week later will include one from Randy Orton – so both will be appearing in their hometowns.
