A WWE name has been prominently featured in a romantic comedy style trailer, as part of Google’s new festive campaign.
Several WWE stars have appeared in commercials for notable brands recently, with Jey Uso previously featured in Chelsea FC’s “The Magic of Blue” festive campaign.
Nikki Bella has now joined this list, appearing as a co-lead in Google’s latest ad.
This campaign, titled “The Gift Exchange”, is a trailer for a fictional movie, in the same vein as a Christmas themed romantic comedy.
In this fake movie trailer – which you can view below – Nikki Bella stars as Holly Hall, who runs into her Aiden Winter (played by Taylor Kinney), her ex-boyfriend who still lives in her small hometown and is still so good looking (Holly Hall’s words, not ours).
Bella – as Hall – must find a gift for her ex, who is assigned to her in Mistletown’s 90th annual Secret Santa.
Unfortunately for romantic comedy fans, there isn’t a full movie coming, with the advert ending with the voiceover stating that this is not actually a real movie, and Nikki Bella tweeting that this is “NOT coming to a theater near you.”
Nikki Bella last wrestled at the November 29 Survivor Series event, unsuccessfully challenging for Stephanie Vaquer’s WWE Women’s World Championship.
