After a fiery appearance on last week’s NXT, a WWE main roster star will face off in their first match on the brand in over four years.
The July 29 episode of WWE NXT saw Nia Jax attack Lash Legend, allowing Fallon Henley to score the victory in their match.
With Jax having been eliminated in the WWE Evolution Battle Royal that would go on to be won by Stephanie Vaquer, it was Legend who would send the WWE veteran over the top rope.
Clearly, the NXT women’s roster is still on Jax’s mind, with her first match on the brand since March 2021 happening on August 5.
As announced by the official WWE NXT Twitter account, Nia Jax is set to go head-to-head with Thea Hail.
Jax was last seen in NXT action back in March 2021, teaming with Shayna Baszler as they retained the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship against Dakota Kai & Raquel Rodriguez.
Prior to that, her last singles match on the brand saw her lose to the NXT Women’s Champion Asuka.
Jax was called up to the main roster as part of the 2016 WWE Draft and has since been a two-time Women’s Champion and Women’s Tag Team Champion (alongside Shayna Baszler).
