A WWE name has commented on the signing of Danhausen following his most recent appearance on this week’s Raw.
The March 2 episode of WWE Raw saw Danhausen make his first appearance since debuting at Elimination Chamber on February 28.
Being introduced to Judgment Day by WWE Raw general manager Adam Pearce, Danhausen would curse Dominik Mysterio, leading to a change of championship later that evening.
With reports that some in WWE “didn’t want” the former AEW star, Gabe Sapolsky has now shared his thoughts on the decision to sign Danhausen.
In a post shared on Twitter, the WWE Creative Consultant & Domestic Talent Scout, noted his own perception of the newly signed star before commenting on his resilience as a star, tweeting:
“One thing I have learned is to bet on talent like Danhausen.
“People who prove the naysayers wrong (including myself), aren’t afraid to explore doing something new and different, immerse themselves in it and march forward despite all the “no” answers. Much respect.”
Danhausen signed with AEW in early 2022, but would be absent from television for much of 2024, with his last match being at Worlds End in December 2023 in the TNT Championship Right To Challenge Anytime, Anywhere Battle Royal.
John Cena recently reacted to the debut of Danhausen in WWE in a post shared on social media.
