WWE’s Lash Legend Says Things ‘Really, Really Clicked’ For Her Three Years Into NXT

Lash Legend says things “really, really clicked” for her in WWE when she was three years into her run in NXT.

Legend officially signed with WWE in December 2020, and was in NXT for five years before she was called up to the main roster in November 2025.

Now a Women’s Tag Team Champion alongside Nia Jax, the pair appeared on the latest edition of Raw Recap for an interview.

Asked to describe the moment things clicked for her in WWE, Legend said:

“I believed and I felt that I could do it when I got the opportunity and tried out. I feel like maybe three years in, it really, really clicked.

“You have phases of, ‘Oh I get this, oh I get this, oh I get this.’ But I feel like it really, really clicked for me about three years into NXT.”

Lash Legend’s Quick Success On WWE Main Roster

Despite it taking five years for her to get the call-up from NXT, it hasn’t taken long for Lash Legend to be presented as a big name in the women’s division on the WWE main roster, with prominent performances in matches like WarGames and the Royal Rumble.

Commenting on her success so far, she said:

“I learned so much at NXT. Being down in NXT for over five years, I felt like I was ready for this moment to come up.

“Yes, it seems like we’re just going and it’s fast tracked, but I feel like I’m ready and deserving of all of this.

“I’ve had so much fun, and I feel like every moment, I am taking in all the moments, but also I’m like, ‘I’m fitting to kill it,’ and that’s the mindset I have.

“I feel like if you have that, you believe it, you see it, then you do it. So that’s what it’s been like for me and my journey so far.”

Nia Jax Predicts Big Things For Lash Legend

Lash Legend’s tag team partner Nia Jax also had high praise for Legend, predicting she’ll go on to be a future singles champion in WWE:

Jax said:

“I had no doubt when she came up that she would just blend right in. She was already ready to get in here and dominate.

“But Lash, she’s a student of the game. She’s willing to listen, she’s willing to learn. She is very confident in who she is, but she also is always open to suggestions.

“So it’s really the easiest and smoothest transition for her to come up and work with us.

“I’m having fun watching her continuously every week get better and better.

“I hope we never break up, but one day when she has her own singles run, I have no doubt that she’s gonna be a Women’s Champion for a very long time.”
